In November 2014, Professor Andreae was also named one of ten Leading Men in Canada by the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel, one of the world’s premier research institutes. “They have operations in Canada and it was the Canadian continent that bestowed this honour on the occasion of their 50th anniversary. I was honoured along with William Shatner (Star Trek fame) and the CEO and President of Air Canada, among others,” said Professor Andreae, who was chosen for his huge strides in education and his outstanding work as a community advocate.
